Department: 300 Direct Labor
Location: Farnborough, ENG

Flexjet operates one of the world’s most modern and luxurious private jet fleets. Supporting this operation is a highly disciplined and quality-driven supply chain, where every component, tool, and material plays a critical role in ensuring safety, reliability, and performance.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-145 Stores Operative to join our team—an individual who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance within an aviation environment.

The Role

As a Part-145 Stores Operative, you will play a vital role in the control, storage, and distribution of aircraft parts and materials. Your work will directly support engineering operations, ensuring that only compliant, serviceable, and properly documented components are available for use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage goods receipt and dispatch, ensuring all parts are inspected, verified, and accompanied by appropriate airworthiness documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and stock records, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and control shelf life and condition of consumables and components, including quarantine of unserviceable or non-compliant items
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of parts in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements (e.g. ESD, environmental controls)
  • Prepare and coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliant packaging and documentation
  • Support Part-145 compliance, maintaining audit readiness and assisting with internal and external audits (CAA/EASA)
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely availability of serviceable parts for maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Experience working within an aviation stores or similarly regulated logistics environment (including military)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous working experience in a highly regulated environment in reference to parts handling, storage, and traceability
