Perform data entry into the computer inventory systems to include locating, issuing, receiving, and shipping of materials.
Perform inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations of materials based on direction from leadership.
Monitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinates stock level adjustments with Aircraft Maintenance, Purchasing, and/or other departments within the Company.
Ensure proper documentation is received by aircraft maintenance department when returning unserviceable parts removed from aircraft.
Effectively communicate with suppliers when unserviceable parts need to be returned as part of the purchase order agreement.
Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures, and risk controls.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Pass and maintain rating to be able to drive forklifts.
Ability to work flexible shifts and/or work variable hours including holiday and weekends.
Successfully pass the Materials and General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training courses.
Successfully pass Hazmat Awareness course, will be required to pass an International Air Transport Association (IATA) test.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Spread the Flexjet culture to others while displaying the company fundamental principles daily.
Enhance efficiencies in all areas of development while performing quality parts room functions.
Assist, train and mentor other employees in proper techniques and procedures.
Support and promote Safety Management Systems (SMS), while keeping safety as a core value.
Gain efficiency in carrying out all parts room functions in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
Ability to understand the functions of the Parts Department and the roles and responsibilities of a Parts Specialist.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of all shipping/receiving functions and responsibilities
