The Facility Manager has overall responsibility for the maintenance, repair and coordination of all facility services, processes, systems, and industrial machinery.
Please note, for this position you must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
This position is located in Sanford, Florida.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a preventative maintenance program including regular inspections of building and grounds.
- Leads & supervises the facilities staff and vendor base.
- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities and department employees. Keep track of daily schedule and delegate work orders.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and determine a clear path forward.
- Work cross functionally with all levels of staff and vendors on path to solutions.
- Oversees and engages in repairs to vehicles, manlifts and aircraft ground support equipment.
- Perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ensures vendors are compliant with Constant Aviation needs and requests.
- Oversee performance of outsourced landscaping & in-house janitorial programs.
- Performs complex maintenance duties as necessary.
- Respond to emergency facility requests.
- Assist in soliciting costs for capital budgets.
- Prepares facilities for changing weather conditions.
- Participates in workplace health, safety and Hazmat programs.
- Displays internal and external customer service.
- Manage and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Aviation experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience of industrial maintenance.
- Automotive, aircraft ground support equipment, or industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical acumen of building systems, certified in HVAC is a plus.
- OSHA training certificate a plus.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must pass a background check for airport security badge (SIDA).
- Furnish hand and power tools to fulfill maintenance projects.
- Familiarity with work order systems.
- Strong attention to detail and professional appearance.
- Certificate(s) for operating fork, scissor, or articulating lifts a plus.
- Must be able to work in all climates.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, sometimes over shoulder.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
