Trip Manager

Department: 205 Charter Management
Location: Cleveland, OH

Trip Managers work directly with the Sentient Revenue Management Sales Team to facilitate charter requests on the Flexjet Fleet. These requests come from our sister brand – FXAIR and various third-party wholesale providers. Trip Management is responsible for building these requests and then servicing them through the life cycle. A Trip Manager is the direct contact for third party vendors and ultimately responsible for ensuring their experience is flawless throughout the process.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive trip details via telephone and/or email and enter this information into internal scheduling system.
  • Generate customer facing itineraries in order to confirm accuracy.
  • Gather remaining trip details via telephone and email from end user.
  • Receive, research and then answer questions regarding upcoming trips. There will be a need to expand knowledge of airports, aircraft, and general procedures of Flexjet.
  • Identify additional TSA and/or Flexjet documentation needed to facilitate a request.
  • Adjust trip details to match final tail assignment and communicate to customer.
  • Communicate service deviations to customer and propose potential resolutions.
  • Establish long term relationships with your counterparts at third party vendors.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of FARs regarding Part 91, 135, or 121 airline operations is preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the aptitude to learn customized company software programs.
  • Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work productively, independently, and within a team.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required.
  • Successful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism while multi-tasking various real time situations in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
