Assistant Flight Operations Supervisor

Department: 204 Aircraft Management
Location: Cleveland, OH

Flexjet, an award-winning organization that specializes in high end private jet travel, is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Supervisor to join our team! Flexjet currently operates over 250 aircraft with over 1,400 pilots located in 150 domiciles traveling both domestically and internationally! This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily management and support of the flight operations. The Assistant Flight Operations Supervisor will report directly to the Chief Pilot and requires the individual to reside in Cleveland, OH.

Assistant Flight Operations Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the on duty flight supervisor in the daily management of flight operations.
• Review aircraft performance calculations
• Support the Owners Services Department and Mission Validation Department as a technical resource
• Assist the Chief Pilot, Assistant Chief Pilot, and fleet program managers with aircraft specific projects
• Assist with the review of MEL(s) and other Maintenance inquiries.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Associate’s Degree, in business or an aviation related field preferred; 2-4 years’ experience within an aviation environment; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Have a strong understanding of FAR’s in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations
• Must be a commercial rated pilot
• The position requires a high degree of knowledge and understanding of the Company including Standard Operating Procedures, the Flight Operations Manual, and the Code of Federal Regulations applicable to Company operations
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required
• Candidate should work well and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
• Must be detail oriented, highly self-motivated, and able to work productively independently or within a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft software applications and the aptitude to learn company specific software
